Microlease broadens offering in T&M procurement; becomes Keysight distributor in UK Test and measurement equipment management company Microlease has been selected as an Authorised Distributor in the UK by Keysight Technologies, and will stock and supply all of Keysight’s product lines that the company sells through distribution; Microlease already has a similar agreement with Keysight in Italy (and the Americas). Microlease presents this move as a progression in its development as a “total provider of T&M sourcing and asset management” supplier. The company, from its roots in instrument rental, now aims to provide all modes of acquiring instrumentation – purchase, rental, leasing, including finance facilities – through managing T&M assets for maximum cost-effectiveness over time, to re-sale or disposal. Microlease www.microlease.com Solid State plc acquires Ginsbury Electronics Solid State plc announced it has completed the acquisition of Ginsbury Electronics in a deal worth some GBP2.125 million. The Ginsbury team will continue to be based in Rochester, Kent, operating alongside Solid State Supplies Ltd. and Steatite Ltd., the two principle trading companies of Solid State plc, which are located in Redditch, Worcestershire. Like Solid State plc, Ginsbury is qualified to the AS9120 standard (incorporating ISO9001), enabling the newly combined company to continue with immediate effect as a stockist distributor to the military and aerospace industries, which are key markets for the Group.
